The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for our family to say the least. To sum it up, my grandfather, Steve (Grandaddy Steve-73), finally ended his 7ish year fight on August 6th, 2024 with cancer spending the last two weeks of this life in hospice surrounded by the love of his life -my grandmother Betty (Bunnie)- and many other beloved family members and friends. Then, just last week on August 25th, 2024 my other grandfather, Charlie (Pop-88), passed away in hospice from end-stage heart failure and renal failure. I was very fortuante to be Pops bedside alongside his wife of 70 years- my Meme- my dad, and bonus mom Lisa as we took care of him during his last couple of weeks of this earthly life. We shared stories and memories and I will forever cherish those times spent together.
I want to thank everyone for all the call, texts, emails, food, healthcare workers, and prayers that we have received as we mourn the loss of two wonderful men that we got to call grandfathers and great grandfathers.
As we transition back into normalcy, I wanted to give everyone an update about my fall schedule. Here you will see my schedule for family sessions this fall. I will also be doing Santa Mini Sessions this year on two different days and those will be back at the Bleak House- you can look at that sign up here. I am so excited to see you all again this year and I truly mean it. If you are wanting to do a newborn session or a studio session please email me with what you have in mind and the date you prefer!
